La Finca Golf Resort is one of the best-known golf resorts in the province of Alicante. It consists of an 18-hole golf course and a 5-star hotel, set in a privileged natural environment on the Costa Blanca, in the Vega Baja region, near the town of Algorfa.
The resort has hosted numerous high-level golf tournaments, including competitions on the EPD Tour (now the Pro Golf Tour), the Spanish Junior Championship and the European Junior Championship, among others.
La Finca Golf Course has been recognised by the prestigious international golf magazine Golf Digest as one of Spain’s outstanding golf courses.
The course features 18 holes, Par 72, and was designed by Pepe Gancedo. It offers an extensive practice area and excellent facilities, making it an ideal place to enjoy golf and work on improving your technique.
La Finca Golf stands out for its wide fairways, which are ideal for practising long shots and improving accuracy. Its greens, many of which are undulating, feature large surfaces and distinctive shapes that challenge players’ strategy and short game. The course also impresses with its beautiful scenery, including lakes, rivers and numerous waterfalls that add a special charm to the golfing experience.
The resort is located in a natural environment with rich flora and fauna typical of the Vega Baja region. From the course, golfers can enjoy magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and countryside. The resort is surrounded by modern golf properties and villas, carefully integrated into the natural landscape.
La Finca Hotel
The 5-star La Finca Golf Resort Hotel is located next to the golf course, in a peaceful natural setting where guests can combine sport with relaxation. For three consecutive years, the hotel received the Spain’s Best Golf Hotel award, presented by the World Golf Awards.
La Finca Hotel is a modern building opened in 2002, designed to provide guests with a comfortable stay. Its rooms feature spacious terraces with views of the golf course or gardens, creating the perfect atmosphere in which to relax after a day on the course.
The hotel’s facilities include a complete SPA with an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, water jets and waterfalls, as well as a range of body treatments and massages. Guests can also enjoy a gym, a spacious breakfast area and several restaurants offering a varied gastronomic experience.
The resort is approximately a 40-minute drive from Alicante Airport. The city of Torrevieja and the beaches of Guardamar del Segura and La Mata are around 20 minutes away by car, making it easy to combine golf with excursions and relaxing moments by the sea.
