Rather than teaching at a single driving range, lessons take place on established courses across the region, so you practise under real playing conditions.
Roda Golf and Serena Golf — Los Alcázares
Two courses beside Los Alcázares, on the shore of the Mar Menor. Roda Golf is an 18-hole par 72 designed by Dave Thomas, known in the region for the standard of its maintenance across every area of the course. Serena Golf sits nearby and has a character of its own.

Torre Golf, Hacienda Riquelme and El Valle Golf — Roldán
Three courses inland from the coast, around Roldán, roughly midway between the city of Murcia and the sea. The base for a stay here is the five-star DoubleTree by Hilton La Torre Golf and Spa Resort, which overlooks the course and the lake.

Why Murcia works for golf
The Costa Cálida gets more than 300 days of sunshine a year. Winter temperatures hold between 10 and 18 °C, rarely fall below 5 °C, and reach 20–22 °C during the day. Golf is therefore comfortable right through the winter months, and the strongest season runs from autumn to spring.
Murcia is also noticeably quieter than the better-known Costa del Sol, which in practice means easier tee times and less crowded fairways.

Who teaches
Lessons are taught by Jon Halldor Gardarsson, a PGA golf professional from Iceland. He played professional football in Cologne, Germany, studied at the Deutsche Sporthochschule Köln, and is qualified as a physical education teacher and in sports psychology. More on the about us page.
Lessons combined with a stay
